Unexpected benefit of Alberta independence.
You telling me people will leave Alberta for provinces with higher taxes, less jobs and more expensive housing?
Darwinism for the win!
Alberta Independence: No more Ottawa Tax. More money for seniors. Strong military and REAL support for veterans. Strong immigration and deportation. To ensure the Alberta is strong and free.
The Value of Freedom is Priceless.
Yes, I noticed that Thomas Lukaszuk’s little road trip adventure isn’t registered with Elections Alberta as a third-party advertiser. Where’s the money, Tommy?
Also, anybody else notice how his van looks like a blood donor clinic?
Some could say that equalization wealth transfers are blood sucking.
@JeffreyRWRath Good for you Jeff that’s awesome. What’s that saying “ I can lose weight but you can’t fix ugly”
People are so ready to call out weight but I guarantee their fat assess aren’t glorious either!
Beautiful horse 😊
MY ALBERTA DAY!
Got back on my Championship Cattle Penning horse after a long injury related hiatus. Thinking about Stampede this year.
Side note - for all of the low IQ Federalists who think “Jeff Rath is fat” is an effective argument against Alberta Independence, just remember
… I will lose weight. (40 lbs so far) … But none of y’all will ever have an IQ over 70!
FUN FACTS
Using stats Canada
$544B in equalization over payment since 2000
$334B in CPP
$23.9B in EI overpayment
subtotal $901.9B cost
$400B to leave Canada
net benefit for Albertans over the next 25 years $501.9B
@Prairielily22 Established in 1905 and never been given a fair deal within confederation.
If Harper, from Calgary, and with a majority wouldn't rectify things for the West, then no one will.
Absolute fairy tale to "hope" Alberta and the West will ever get fair treatment within Canada.
@MrBungYEG@Prairielily22 Yes I certainly enjoy seeing an $8 cauliflower or how about $9 for romaine lettuce? Or maybe $1.75 per litre for gasoline
Please tell me again how great everything is going?
What an absolute weak placating idiot you are.
Edmonton of course
The West's tenuous hold on the Conservative Party, which they have held for most of the past 23 years (minus the cringeworthy O'Toole era), will come to an end. Western voters need to wake up now and understand that the fairytale in their heads of the Conservatives one day winning another majority government and finally improving the nation's system for the West will likely never come true. If Harper couldn't make significant changes when he was at the helm of the country, it's unfortunately not likely any Conservative leader can. Those of us who are staunchly on the pro-independence side have accepted this and know in our hearts and minds that the best thing for our Western provinces is to opt out of the Canadian system permanently.
@MarcNixon24@SaskLass Holy shit am I even hearing this correctly????? Of course the fucking economy is a political issue you absolute cunt waffle. wtf else should it be
What are you more worried about?
A bunch of spoiled chiefs shutting down a road as part of civil disobedience, or a bunch of angry Albertans shutting down the whole province?
What's the Chief's big play here? He's definitely looking for a fight.
He's screaming "consent" while the taxpayers foot his bill.
Run the referendum, he'll never be happy. What's the worse he can do? Blockade his reserve with his subsidized Cadillac Escalade?
@Me55899599@ABDanielleSmith@McDougallYYC lol that’s funny. If that was even slightly true we would be having a proper referendum in Oct. but no she’s a fucking federalist shill.
