I haven't been on twitter today - but someone brought a few of my old tweets to my attention and I can't not address it.

14 years ago, I was 23, so I was definitely not a child. I'm not here to make excuses because I don't have anything to make excuses for. What I can't let anyone do is twist my story to fit false narratives.

In 2012, I lived and helped out at my mom's daycare while I was hustling my music. I tweeted everything that happened in my life, as we all did at the time. Kids can be mischievous. If a child did something I found funny, I tweeted about it. Kids are cute and lovable. I want to hug, kiss and cuddle them. I tweet about it. Nothing I tweeted was from perversion.

I was not famous, so maybe if I was, I would have understood that anything is open to whatever interpretation including being used falsely by a faceless mob. I've never been depraved in my life. You can retweet all the tweets in the world about me loudly crushing on people I admire/d. Or being a cheeky young woman. I wasn't trying to hide it, because I don't have anything to hide.

My team has been deleting some of my tweets because of how sensitive it is for my family. To be honest, I did not want to. I have always spoken against rape and sexual assault even before you knew I existed. It's not a costume I'm wearing, it's who I am. I've never claimed to be perfect. I've never claimed to know everything. I said stop raping women. I stand by it.

With the sheer scale and number of ‘anti-government’ stories I have published, not to mention the ones by @fijnigeria, somebody actually believes I took money for those stories?

Impossible to think I’d still be standing if I ever took money for any story!

But my search for truth is never-ending, regardless of whether it is a popular choice at a certain time or not. People who believe I’ve been bought reveal more about themselves than me — people of meagre virtues and no scruple, able to be bought or influenced. In their head, everyone else is like them.

And in the not too distant future, they will eat their words (like it's happened several times in the past).

✍️It is comparatively cheaper to produce a kwh unit of electricity using Hydro, Wind, Gas and Solar feedstocks

✍️Nigeria is one rich gas nation , having over 202trillion [tcf] of gas .

✍️We have far more sunshine in Nigeria, especially, in the Northern part of Nigeria, than , most locations, that have massive solar panel farm estates in the world

✍️Nigeria also has massive water bodies to accommodate more hydro electricity generations dams .

✍️Cost of generating a kwh hydroelectric sourced power is $0.05/N62.50.. Using wind powered turbine will cost $0.04/N50 per kwh. Gas powered turbine will cost; Solar photovoltaics: The cost of solar power has dropped is $50 per megawatt-hour or $0.05/N62.50 per KWh. Gas powered turbine ; Gas powered Turbines energy cost of $.0.05/N62.50 per kwh.. Bionergy sources is $0.04/N50 per kwh

Ilaje's fishing dexterity is underlined by a popular saying among the Ilaje that, "Ubo ẹri ipa tọ, ilaje gwa to rin" meaning, "Where the path of river currents flow through, there you will find the Ilaje."

Ìlàje is a Local Government Area in Ondo State, South-West Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Igbokoda. The Ilajes are a distinct migratory coastal linguistic group of Yoruba peoples spread along the coastal belts of Ondo, Ogun, Lagos and Delta states and originally made up of four geo-political entities, namely: Ode Ugbo, Ode Mahin, Ode Etikan and Aheri. While most towns and villages in the Mahin kingdom (Ode Mahin) are distributed on arable lands, the towns and villages in the other three geo-politics of Ugbo, Aheri and Etikan kingdoms are spread out along the beaches and swampy terrain of the Atlantic Ocean coast.

Ilajes were said to have left Ile Ife, their original ancestral home in the 10th century, and migrated southwards towards the littoral coastline of southeastern Yorubaland. The Ilajes are one of the most dynamic and enterprising people in Nigeria. Their aquatic skill, coupled with their ability to adapt, enabled them to conquer their harsh geographical environment and turn it to their advantage. Consequently, they were able to build large communities like Ugbonla, Aiyetoro, Zion PePe, and Orioke. Aiyetoro, for example, in its hey-days, had the highest per capita income in the whole of Africa due to its early discovery of crude petroleum and attracted visitors, tourists and researchers from all over the world.

Apart from petroleum found in the area, other mineral raw materials available in Ilajeland include glass sand, salt, tar sand/ bitumen, quartz and clay. Agricultural products include fish, piggery, maize, palm oil, vegetables, timber, Rafia, poultry, copra, cocoyam, bananas, and cassava The natural environment of Ilajeland is particularly suitable for the development of large-scale rice plantations and the salt industry. The occupational activities of the Ilajes include fishing, canoe making, lumbering, net making, mat making, launch building, farming, and trading. Fishing, however, remains the major agricultural preoccupation of the Ilaje. This is underscored by the fact that Ilaje's geographical sphere has one of the longest coastlines in Nigeria.
