My name is Lebogang Mogale, I am 26 years old and originally from Limpopo. I am currently staying in Alberton, Gauteng, and have been bedridden since January this year.
Before January, I was healthy and working hard towards my qualification. I was supposed to graduate in June, but instead, I have spent months battling severe and unexplained health problems.
I became seriously ill during the first week of January. I developed a severe cough with yellow phlegm, struggled to breathe at night, experienced excessive heat while sleeping, and had acid coming out of my mouth. Since then, my health has changed completely.
I have experienced symptoms including severe body shocks, shaking, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, blood rushing to my head, adrenaline-like episodes, swelling of my tongue and throat, diarrhoea, nausea, painful veins and joints, a burning sensation throughout my body, dry eyes and severe digestive problems.
For about four months, I struggled to eat because of the swelling of my tongue. At times, I survived mainly on yoghurt, and sometimes I could not eat at all.
I am now mostly bedridden. When I try to stand or walk, I become extremely dizzy and feel as though I may faint. My heart starts racing, my legs feel as though blood is pooling in them, and I struggle to breathe properly. I also experience severe digestive problems, including bloating, nausea, acid reflux and diarrhoea. Food can feel as though it remains in my stomach for hours.
Since January, I have visited Thelle Mogoerane Hospital, Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital, Steve Biko Academic Hospital and various clinics numerous times. Despite undergoing blood tests, I have repeatedly been sent home because the results were reportedly normal.
Some doctors have suggested anxiety or reflux, but I continue to experience debilitating physical symptoms.
One doctor raised the possibility of dysautonomia/POTS, a condition involving dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, which can affect heart rate, blood pressure, digestion and other bodily functions. I am also seeking assessment for conditions such as gastroparesis and MCAS, but I need qualified specialists to properly investigate and diagnose me.
I am urgently asking for help finding specialists in Gauteng who have experience with POTS/dysautonomia and related conditions, particularly a cardiologist/electrophysiologist, neurologist, gastroenterologist and allergist/immunologist.
If you are a specialist who may be able to assist Lebogang, or if you know a doctor or medical team in Gauteng with experience in these conditions, please reach out.
If you cannot assist medically, please share this post so that it can reach the right people.
Lebogang desperately wants to regain her health and continue with the life she had worked so hard to build.

Client Hijacking Incident
Our client advertised his car on Facebook for sale. A buyer came to view it at his shop on Gerrit Maritz Street.
They went on a test drive to put petrol at Total Garage, with the buyer driving. They drove via Jan Van Riebeeck, President Steyn and Rosslyn Road, onto the N4 towards R80.
Client took over driving because he was uncomfortable with the buyer's driving.
Just before the R80 on-ramp to Brits Road, the buyer pulled a gun, forced the client to stop, pushed him out of the driver's seat and drove off towards Brits with the car.
If you have spotted this car, please reach out to us.

3 YEARS. ZERO ARRESTS. AND HER OWN PEOPLE STAYED QUIET.
Zanele Precious Nkosi was executed in broad daylight on 29 March 2023 outside her office in Rustenburg. Shot multiple times in the head and body like a target. A mother. A daughter. Chairperson of the North West Black Lawyers Association.
She didn’t just practise law. She served her community. Among other projects, she initiated efforts to provide sanitary pads to schoolgirls in and around Rustenburg so they could stay in class with dignity.
Her killers are still free.
Rustenburg SAPS has done nothing. No arrests. No updates. Just cold silence while a family’s life remains destroyed.
But the real disgrace? Her own colleagues.
The Black Lawyers Association. The LSSA. The attorneys and firms who worked with her. They had the resources, the connections, the platforms and the influence to force SAPS to account. Instead, most of them chose silence. Comfortable silence. Career-safe silence.
Why?
People of Rustenburg, I’m asking you straight:
What is happening with this case?
Why is SAPS so quiet?
And why did those who should have fought the hardest abandon her?
This is not just police failure. This is betrayal by the very profession that should have protected her name.
EXPOSURE.
The family has waited long enough. The silence ends now.

A 52-year-old woman was raped and robbed at her newly occupied home in Potchefstroom in the early hours of Sunday, 30 August 2026.
Police say an unknown man entered through a broken window, demanded money, assaulted and allegedly raped the woman before stealing her cellphone, purse and keys and fleeing.
The suspect, described as an African male aged about 20–22 with dreadlocks, remains at large.
A house robbery and rape investigation is underway.
Themba Shabalala and his wife Evelyn ran a cluster of 10 companies, plus a wider web of shell outfits, and pulled in more than R15 million from Tembisa Hospital in just a few weeks. One of those firms, Inez Chaste, billed the hospital R498,000 for 200 pairs of skinny jeans meant for girls aged 6 to 7 R2,500 a pair.
Those deals sat inside the R850 million trail of irregular payments that Gauteng Health whistleblower Babita Deokaran flagged not long before she was assassinated in August 2021.
Before all that, Themba Shabalala had been a retired pro footballer, a defender at clubs like Jomo Cosmos and Bidvest Wits.
