PERSON OF INTEREST SOUGHT TO ASSIST POLICE WITH MURDER INVESTIGATION

The South African Police Service in Maokeng in the Free State is appealing to members of the public for assistance in finding a man who may be able to assist police with an ongoing murder investigation.

It is alleged that on Sunday, 12 July 2026, at about 19:30, an argument broke out between the 36-year-old victim and the suspect outside a tavern at Phomolong, Maokeng.

During the altercation, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times on the upper body.

Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and certified the victim dead.

Police have opened a murder case, and investigations are continuing. No arrest has been made at this stage.

Mr Thabang Paku Mohlomi (in photo), is believed to be a Lesotho national and is commonly known by the nickname "Paku." Police believe he may be able to assist with the investigation.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Jabulani Kumalo on 073 900 4892 or the SAPS CrimeStop number 08600 10111. Information may also be shared anonymously via the MySAPSApp. All information received will be treated with strict confidentiality.

We called on the U.S. Department of Justice to hand over the full Epstein files to the UN Special Rapporteurs and UN independent committees for investigations, as this is an international case of crimes against humanity. But the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN's top human rights official didn't even care to open an investigation or listen to our call for the DoJ, nor utter a single word regarding the largest human trafficking network in modern history.
