Is it just me, or does there seem to be an unhealthy obsession among some South African men with Nigerian men when it comes to relationships and South African women?

The hostility is often so intense and so openly expressed that it is difficult to ignore. Instead of focusing on the real social and economic challenges facing society, some seem preoccupied with who South African women choose to date or marry.

What exactly drives this fixation? Is it competition, insecurity, stereotypes, or something else? It would be interesting to have an honest conversation about where it comes from and why it generates such strong emotions.
