Palestinians are starting to think that the whole world has turned its back on them. This sentiment reflects what so many families in Gaza feel today. Please contribute now: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
Their suffering is no fault of their own. They are trapped in a reality they cannot control - enduring hunger, deprivation, repeated airstrikes, and the slow destruction of daily life by the occupation whose objective is to ethnically cleanse Gaza by making it unlivable.
Parents are left wondering how to feed their children while the world moves on, distracted by entertainment and headlines that push Gaza further into the background, like the attention on the World Cup.
The people we serve know The Sameer Project has never abandoned them. They know we want to do more. They also know our funding has fallen dramatically, forcing us to reduce distributions at the very moment hunger is returning as community kitchens shut down.
On June 23, we distributed 365 mujadara meals to families in Al-Mahatta Camp within the Battalion Camps Gathering in North Gaza. This cost $586, including the 11% bank commission.
Please don't let these families stand alone. Help us continue showing up when so much of the world has turned away. Every donation reminds Gaza that they have not been forgotten, at least by YOU.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said 16 Palestinians were brought to hospitals across the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, including six newly killed, one who later died of wounds, and nine bodies recovered, while 16 others were wounded. The ministry added that a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews.
Since the 11 October ceasefire, 1,066 Palestinians have been killed, 3,445 wounded, and 797 bodies recovered from areas previously unreachable.

As you enjoy the comfort and safety of home today, remember that a Palestinian paediatrician is spending yet another sleepless night in an Israeli prison, tortured for the mere act of refusing to abandon his patients when his hospital was under attack.
Write to your government officials today and demand that they pressure Israel to immediately release Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya!

🚨HORRIBLE: These are the remains of children and entire families exterminated after the Israeli army bombed their homes in Gaza.
Their bodies remained trapped beneath the rubble for months, years before they could finally be recovered today.
Every prisoner in the world has the right to legal representation and someone to fight for their release.
But here in Gaza, more than two million people are imprisoned under siege from every direction. We are tortured, killed, starved, and deprived of water. We are forced to endure conditions unlike anything anyone else in the world has to live through.
To this very moment, we have not found a single country willing to defend us, protect us, or work to free us from the genocide we have been forced to endure without end.
And even if someone claims to defend us, who are we supposed to turn to? Should we appeal to the very countries that claim to uphold human rights, while they are complicit—or even responsible—for everything we are being subjected to?
How can we seek justice from those who have been responsible for our oppression? How can we trust those who have the power to end our suffering, yet choose to remain silent or take part in it?
For seventy-eight years, we have lived under ظلم and oppression, and we are still waiting for justice that has never come, because those with the power to deliver it are the very ones who have allowed this tragedy to continue to this day.
🟥 UPDATE NUMBER FOUR | 3 JULY 2026
🔳 Journalists on the Ground
🟥 GAZA
🔳 Gaza has reached 1,000 days of war. Marking the grim milestone, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced a special series of live broadcasts beginning on 4 July in cooperation with Doctors Against Genocide, aiming to expose the catastrophic humanitarian and health conditions facing the Strip. The Ministry said the broadcasts will document the collapse of the healthcare system, the effects of the siege, and what it describes as the ongoing genocide targeting both the Palestinian people and the foundations of life itself.
▪️The victims of the israeli attack on Al-Mawasi, south of Khan Younis, have been identified as Mahmoud Abdul Razzaq Mohammed Al-Bureim (43) and Yousef Qasem Abu Khater (60). Mahmoud Al-Bureim previously worked in the administration of the Rafah Crossing before it was destroyed by israel during the war. The death toll later rose to three martyrs after Ahmed Abdul Razzaq Al-Bureim (45), Mahmoud’s brother, succumbed to the wounds he sustained in the same attack.
▪️In central Gaza, Abdul Hamid Adel Jarwan was identified as the Palestinian martyred after an israeli strike targeted a motorcycle in Nuseirat refugee camp.
▪️Reports from northern Gaza said militias accused of collaborating with the israeli occupation shot one young Palestinian and abducted two others in Beit Lahia, while israeli war criminals later detained two more young men near Abbas Kilani Roundabout in the Al-Shaymaa area of the city.
▪️The Gaza Ministry of Social Development says more than 80% of Gaza’s population has lost their homes during the war. It estimates that more than 75,000 children have been orphaned, over 68,000 Palestinians are now the sole surviving members of their immediate families, around 45,000 women have been widowed, and approximately one million Palestinians remain inside displacement centres while countless others survive in damaged homes offering little or no protection.
▪️Throughout the night, israeli warships intensively fired heavy machine guns into the sea west of Gaza City, while simultaneously launching illumination flares over the coastline. Artillery shelling continued east of Khan Younis, including the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, as occupation forces also opened fire east of the Al-Tuffah neighbourhood in Gaza City.
▪️A large explosion heard shortly after midnight was later confirmed to have resulted from israeli occupation forces demolishing residential buildings northwest of Beit Lahia. At the same time, low-flying israeli reconnaissance aircraft were reported over the Central Governorate, continuing overnight surveillance operations.
▪️Medical sources reported another Palestinian martyr arriving at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, where funeral preparations were underway as casualties continued to reach hospitals across the Strip.
▪️Amid unimaginable loss, Palestinian bodybuilding champion Hussein Auda announced the birth of his newborn son, whom he named Khaled, after one of his four children killed in an earlier israeli attack. In his message he wrote: “Today Allah blessed me with my fifth child, Khaled, after my four children Khaled, Iman, Youssef and Mohammed became martyrs. Praise be to Allah, who grants life after pain.”
▪️Palestinian journalist Ahmed Al-Bursh made an emotional appeal after searching through unidentified bodies at Al-Shifa Hospital. Overnight, he was told a child’s body matching the description of his missing son had been returned by the israeli occupation. Arriving with his wife and children in the early hours of the morning, he discovered it was not his son. His simple appeal afterwards echoed across Gaza: “I just want my son back.”
▪️Reflecting on 1,000 days of war, journalist Anas Al-Sharif wrote: “After 1,000 days of genocide… Anas was martyred, but his voice still tells the story. The coverage continues, and the truth will not die.”
💢 New: “Gaza is not only being bombed daily. Gaza is being made unlivable.”
Eyad Amawi, Gaza humanitarian aid coordinator, said Israeli restrictions continue to delay, deny, or completely block humanitarian missions, including medical teams, water deliveries, and crucially, essential life-saving supplies.
Amawi said civilians have been pushed into just 30% of Gaza’s territory, while deprivation of food, water, healthcare, and safety is being used to force Palestinians from their land. “Departure is not a free choice,” he said. “It’s expulsion under siege.”
He called for all crossings to reopen, the ceasefire to be fully implemented, and unrestricted humanitarian access, warning that history “will judge not only what happened in Gaza, but also what the world chose to protect and what it allowed to disappear.”

What Palestinian prisoners are subjected to inside the prisons of the Israeli occupation forces is something unbearable and intolerable.
A person who was previously released from Israeli prisons told me that one day, late at night, Israeli soldiers entered a cell where a detainee from Gaza was held.
They took him out to an unknown location, then beat and tortured him in the most brutal, filthy, and horrific ways. Afterwards, they brought him into the prison clinic inside the Israeli prison and tortured him again instead of treating him.
At one moment, the soldiers were shouting, celebrating, and congratulating each other, with one soldier telling his friend, “Well done, you are a hero,” which caused concern among the Palestinian detainees, who began wondering what was happening.
After an hour, they were shocked to find out that the soldiers had killed him after more than three continuous hours of torture without mercy.
He was subjected to severe torture and brutal beating that led to his death, simply because he was from Gaza. The Israeli army killed him in cold blood, with no one held accountable for these horrific actions; instead, the soldier who carried out the killing was promoted.
What prisoners experience in Israeli prisons is absolutely unbearable. They are subjected to torture, severe beatings, hunger, and thirst at all times, and in the end, they are killed in cold blood.
