The "Sub On" Promo for World Cup Player Props.

Seeing some confusion about this about this so I wanted to make a post fully addressing what this is and why I'm using it.

There are currently 3 sportsbooks doing this (that I am aware of):

- Fanduel
- Bet365
- Hardrock

Whenever I bet a player prop it will be on one of these three books, usually FD because that's more accessible to me.

During the Germany v Côte d'Ivoire match I bet Jamal Musiala to score or assist. During that match he didn't do that, but, when he was subbed out of the game, Deniz Undav came in for him, and he scored.

Books that have the "Sub-On Promo" usually have slightly worse odds for your player prop, but you essentially get both players. I get Jamal Musiala, but then I also get whoever subs in for him. Since Undav, who subbed in for Musiala scored, Fanduel graded it as a winning bet. Books that don't have this, graded it as a loss.

I am not sponsored by anyone, I just think that if the lines aren't much worse, this is too good of a promo not to take advantage of.

Looking at Ecuador v Curacao. Let's say I like John Yeboa to score or assist. He is currently -120 on DraftKings, but he's -165 on Fanduel. The odds are different because when I take him on Fanduel, even if he doesn't score or assist and he subs off in the 70th minute and his sub scores, I would still cash.

I get this is confusing especially if you're new to soccer. Unfortunately I have absolutely 0 say in what sportsbooks do so If you're book doesn't have it and it misses, that's out of my control.
