@AJManaseer We how bad Brandon has been, but for most outside Chicago he is a young mayor with some rhetorical gifts (when he stays on script) who can energize the progressive base. He’s also a very minor surrogate. It’s not like the surrogates on the other side are all top quality people.

@cbschicago So the kid will be back on the street at age 20. That is not justice. What kind of message do we, as a society, send about the value of a life with a sentence like that? You can excuse a lot of sins with adolescence. Cold-blooded murder should not be one of them.
