Master P says the game isnโt what it used to be. Streams donโt bring in the cash. The real power is in building brands and products that create lasting impact.
@DIEDFROMLUV Tap in bro. Anyway I can help, Iโm glad to. I donโt have the most followers, but I have plenty of plaques and opportunities. Please donโt hurt yourself.
Theres to many lazy artists in this music industry, always complaining about โgAtE kEePiNg.โ Stop complaining and get to work. Save the crocodile tears. 99% of you are NOT built for this. The music industry owes you nothing.
If youโre a struggling artist or musician and you have hard time digesting how the music business really works, check out my book Music Business Unlocked on all book platforms.
Music business, the only industry where folks dive in headfirst with zero clue about contracts, royalties, or publishing and then act shocked when the deal bites. ๐
@queenie4rmnola Nice race bait. What does that have to do with anything? All creeds of people listen to the art form. Whether you like it or not, rap not driving the billboard charts, or labels signing less rap acts is a direct reflection of the current market.
@RobMarkman ๐ฏ Also everyone sounds the same. The options are horrible and itโs hard to just find music you like with a fixed algorithm. I love rap, but what happened to the message??
Rap is dead. The charts are a reflection of that. Iโll tell you why itโs dead. Most of it sucks and sounds the same. The barrier to enter is too low, with low standard. If labels stop signing rappers itโs a reflection that the market is not listening enough. The truth hurts.
