@Officialspeedaf Please I need my goods what kind of stressful rubbish is this? How can I be calling rider since morning and still no response. The site is telling me my delivery has been rescheduled. Rescheduled for what?? Either bring me my goods or refund me!
Most newbie remote workers make this one mistake…
They jump straight into looking for a full-time role.
No experience. No proof. Just vibes.
Even after school, there’s something called an internship.
But online? Everyone wants to skip that stage.
If you’re just starting out, you need to be okay with earning experience before earning big money.
Sometimes that looks like volunteering your skills.
Not forever. Not to be used.
But long enough to build proof.
Build your online presence — especially LinkedIn.
Then reach out to founders or companies…
Not to beg.
But to position yourself.
Don’t say:
“I want to volunteer.”
Say:
“I noticed you’re struggling with ___, I can help you achieve ___.”
Give them a reason to take a chance on you.
And when they do?
Overdeliver.
Because that “small opportunity” is what turns into retention, referrals, and real income.
Be strategic.
Not desperate.
Do you guys understand how sickening it is that guys were trying to find an incriminating post against Simi just because she said stop raping women and rapists should be castrated??
If you are not in Abuja and by extension the National assembly complex, your job is to tweet, retweet, and amplify the efforts of our compatriots on ground. Be
Very useful

I used to lack confidence so much that one time I turned down a project management role of 3M naira monthly because I didn’t think I was capable of earning that much. May imposter syndrome never find you, it’s the biggest career hindrance.
Excuse me please. If you have a remote job (or a hybrid one on Lagos Island, I’m not picky) that pays six figures and has to do with writing, marketing or content creation, please involve me. I don’t want to go and learn another skill again, help meeeeeee 😭😔
Naija needs less virtual assistants and more competent QC inspectors, process technicians and supply chain coordinators. Scratching my head on how to transition more VAs into those roles
I once saw someone talk about how we need less VAs and more manufacturers in Nigeria and THEY'RE RIGHT because the kind of useless peanut butter i just had?? My God...we don't even have good peanut butter in Nigeria??
