Such a painful day in court yesterday. Ahmaud’s arm was torn nearly completely off by a shotgun blast just below his armpit. His torso was ripped open by a buckshot leveled off at point blank range. This was a lynching.
Calling it anything else is a sin. There must be atonement.
If you have friends who will show up when you’re down, you’re blessed. There are too many fair-weather friends in this world. Remember, not everyone has the capacity and will to be present when you’re not shining. It takes a special heart to do that.
Where’s all the global outrage and concern for the 50+ Afghans killed by a terror attack yesterday?
Apparently, a terror attack has to take place in Europe or the US for the world to take note.
The world is in a sad state. People have become callous & hearts hardened. They’re more argumentative & often on edge. Swear words are the norm & good speech considered boring. Mental health, depression, anxiety have become buzz words. We desperately need compassion & empathy.
