This man beat my friends up in the club because they refused to allow him sit on the chair they reserved at Black Box club at Port harcourt for their birthday.
He broke bottles on their head, stripped one of them and the other lost her front tooth.

A friend recently visited the maximum-security women’s prison in Lagos as part of a welfare program, and they told me one of the most shocking observation was the number of pregnant inmates and inmates with toddlers.

Hello everyone, my name is Abiola. I come to you today with a heavy heart, seeking your help and support.🙏
I have been battling kidney disease for a while now, I've been on dialysis all this time, and it has drained everything I have — physically, emotionally, and financially💔
I urgently need a kidney transplant to survive, which cost 35m. So far have been able to raise 4m, but still far from the target.
Please, Nigerians, kind-hearted people, anyone who can hear my voice, I am begging for your support. I don't want to die. I have a wife and two young children who need me.
Please help me. Whatever you can give will bring me closer to staying alive for my family. God bless you all.🙏
PLEASE HELP REPOST PINNED POST FOR MORE REACH.
I would never endorse a post like this!!!
Please do not ask Celebrities to make sacrifices the people themselves are not ready to make.
Celebrities are Citizens like you. If majority of the people are quiet, why should we blame celebrities?
Also not all celebrities wish to speak on social issues. So it’s unfair to manipulate us into speaking about certain topics because even when we speak, we get attacked!
We can’t force people into advocacy simply because their line of work has made them famous.
Let me give an example:
Nigerians will see their fellow Nigerian being brutalized by the police.. instead of coming together to stop it that very moment, some will pass by, some others will watch, some others will record. Then same Nigerians will come online to attack Celebrities for not speaking against police brutality.
When Nigerians truly want change, The people will not wait for any celebrity. The people will become their own celebrities and they will lead and take charge!
Two weeks ago I started feeling severe pain at the back of my left ear, I went to the hospital and the doctor discovered I had a middle ear infection(otitis media), they removed blood and pus from the ear and gave me some drugs which I took, I was also given an appointment…
Sowere's role in all of this is to ensure that no protest takes Tinubu's Government unaware like the EndSars.
Which is why, when anything happens that aggravates the populace, he'll rush to announce a post dated protest so the government can be well prepared.
Don’t abort yours. Let others be! It is not too difficult to ask!
Women have died because some feel they have a right to dictate what women do with their bodies.
I'd use an example I did for my aunty's kids that I applied for my children too and is making everything easier for me.
So, the little time I stayed with my aunty back then, Whenever her kids returned from school during exam period and let's say they brought their physics script home, they'd show me and it's something around 48/60.
I'd smile, be surprised and congratulate them, while talking about myself. Something around "Ahnahn, see Albert Einstein ooo. 48 ke?? During my time, it was 42 I scored o. Wow! You tried!!"
They'd laugh and then try to talk about the person that scored highest in their class and I'll be like; "I trust you!! You did not put too much effort and you scored 48, if you now decide to put much effort like that person nko?? Your school go turn you to physics teacher na."
He laughed, while I went on to encourage him to put in more effort so he can score higher like he wants to next term.
This didn't only stop at school. In every aspect of their lives they shared with me, I always made sure I shared my own experience with them, either fictional or not, but that experience always had my own flaws(like theirs) and how I overcame it later on.
This made them more comfortable around me and be able to tell me anything, because I could relate with all their experiences...and my stories too.
I learnt this and use this same method to relate with my own children today.
***
So, in summary... Let your children see you as a human, a human that made mistakes like them and learnt from them.
Do not make them feel like you were perfect in every aspect while growing up, they'd drift away from you.
But when you're able to relate with them, tell them stories of when you made same mistakes too or even a worse mistake and what you did to overcome it, they'd be eager to share more things with you because they want to hear what you did during your time like them.
Storytelling is amazing. It is why you loved that teacher who mixed stories with his teachings during class.
