I try to do my best to be excellent to one another in life - and this often means making corrections. While I’m not always aware when I’ve goofed, I greatly appreciate feedback to rectify my mistakes.
@SecDuffy@united Yeah, I’m sure the continuous decline of airline customer service and aviation safety will be fixed by wearing slacks at the airport 🙄
@TimSweeneyEpic@mattworkman Imagine my (lack of) surprise that Epic Games Store would be the platform where having informed consumers is seen as a bad thing.
No wonder everyone uses Steam and only considers EGS when there's absolutely no other platform option🤣
@KnightWing19@XboxGamePass There's honestly about 4-5 games a year from GPU that are worth playing. At an average $70 price point (some $60, some $80), I'd be better off in a year just buying the games outright than having paid for a sub and have no games afterwards.
@KnightWing19 Service went from at least an arguable value proposition to no value at all. And people have long enjoyed venting about bad deals and/or price jumps ever since people began putting prices onto goods & services.
@KnightWing19@XboxGamePass Pretty crazy fake outrage that crashes their cancellation pages.
Microsoft literally deleted any reason to keep a subscription when buying to own games is now cheaper and provides greater value.
MS done goofed.
@ChunkerBuns Rental libraries are typically only as good as streaming selections, so I don't have results there. I stopped with online-only "purchases" ever since they migrated to temporary licenses. That just leaves physical media or torrents for hard-to-find titles.
The term 'Shylock' evokes a centuries-old antisemitic trope about Jews and greed that is extremely offensive and dangerous. President Trump's use of the term is very troubling and irresponsible.
It underscores how lies and conspiracies about Jews remain deeply entrenched in our country. Words from our leaders matter and we expect more from the President of the United States.
