@HaleyHornFrogs Kinder students work to build a pen to keep Mother Bruce's goslings safe. They had to collaborate and figure out how to make their pen strong and safe. We explored shapes, height, and whether our pens needed doors or windows. @IrvingLibraries @IISD_iLearn

@HaleyHornFrogs 2nd graders used @LightboxEdu to be Axolotl Ace researchers after reading the book Not A Monster. They looked for information about their habitat and their various colors. Inquiry based learning is a hit with these super sleuths! @IrvingLibraries

@HaleyHornFrogs 4th graders dug into the wonders of the Northern Lights with @LightboxEdu interactive library books. They worked on finding adjectives to describe it, then wrote a summary of their findings after being inspired by the book Seeking an Aurora. @IrvingLibraries

@HaleyHornFrogs 4th graders built a team bus to take the team to the World Cup! After reading World Cup Women about the US Championship Team, they were put together a bus to get them to their game using Lego Spike Essential. @LEGO_Education @IrvingLibraries @IISD_iLearn

@HaleyHornFrogs builders put together a vehicle that held 3 bunnies after hearing the story Bunnies on The Bus by @PhilipArdagh. STEM activities are challenging our creativity and collaboration skills this week! @IrvingLibraries @IISD_iLearn

@HaleyHornFrogs 2nd graders are learning about coding with @SpheroEdu Indi Cars. Their STEM challenge was to work as a team to get the car from start to stop with at least 2 turns and using 5 or more coding blocks. Way to go! @IrvingLibraries @IISD_iLearn

@HaleyHornFrogs 5th graders built movable soccer goals today after being inspired by the book Messi's Magic. They did a great job of working in teams, collaborating, and refining their projects. @IISD_iLearn @IrvingLibraries

@HaleyHornFrogs wrapped up the year learning about @IrvingLibraries Readalotl or Readalittle Summer Reading Challenge and website. We love reading & it shows! We are making use of all of our resources including 24 hour access to eBooks through our Classlink Launchpad. JUST READ!

@HaleyHornFrogs 1st graders are using @Ozobot to sequence events from our story today. Apples to Oregon is a Tall Tale about a real family who took a wagon full of plants across the country. Getting the order right without crossing any lines was tricky!! @IrvingLibraries

@HaleyHornFrogs have been digging into all of our library resources. They used descriptive language to make AI images of themselves, learned about digital citizenship, & explored a new eBook collection. They also did research using databases over 100, 000 times! @IrvingLibraries
