Most founders start in a garage.
We started on a rooftop.
Just an idea, some hardware, and 0 money.
7 months later, we launched a spacecraft.
This is that story.
We’re excited to welcome Donovan Moss to Catalyx Space as our VP of National Security & Defense.
Donovan brings a rare combination of operational, government, and venture experience - having served in the U.S. Air Force and Space Force, led initiatives within Space Systems Command, and most recently worked closely with dual-use startups through SpaceWERX and the venture ecosystem.
With his leadership, we are doubling down on our focus in the defense market - aligning Catalyx more deeply with the evolving needs of U.S. national security and the future of space as a strategic domain.
As space becomes increasingly critical to national security, we’re proud to support the broader mission of maintaining U.S. leadership in space.
Excited for what’s ahead. Welcome to the team, Donovan
Catalyx Space will be at the Space Symposium.
Catch Donavan Moss, Vice President of National Security & Defense, representing Catalyx Space.
We are excited to connect with those advancing secure and reliable space capabilities.
Feel free to reach out if you’re attending.
rejection is a crazy fuel source.
2 years ago, one of my co-founders got dumped.
she said: “focus on your career.”
so he did.
- $7M raised
- rocket engine built
- burned a rose with it this Valentine’s Day
he posted it on his story.
she saw it.
he went back to “career”.
Anti-Valentine update nobody asked for.
Shipped anyway.
Next big thing: April 2026.
Can’t say what it is (yet).
But you’ll want to see it.
Want in early → join the waitlist.
Link in bio.
Days since Crew-11 landed. Still feels surreal.
this is not CGI.
we drove to the sf beach at midnight.
waited for hours…
just to witness a few seconds of re-entry.
moments like this remind you why you build.
in a year, @catalyxspace won’t just be watching.
we’ll be tracking our own return.
God willing. :)
January is going to be different.
We're bringing 200+ builders to our campus with one goal: ship.
It's called Artifact and it'll be our biggest program yet.
