@GeorgeMayer @Lilsmooty @dan_abramov Many large components I've worked on using this technique, they are usually called renderChild.., not so weird in my opinion
@acemarke Fair points. My argument is that when we make ajax requests in thunk actions, then the only way to surface data into UI components is through store. if apps follow this flow, every piece of api data will end up in redux, even thought most of them should be only local state.
Unpopular opinion: having api call in #redux thunk actions is bad. I'm not sure why #redux guide includes it as example on their docs. It makes many people think that they should store their api data in global store #javascript#reactjs#spa
@JackAHarding Depends on what kind of api data, my view coming from data intensive apps where the listing page can contain huge amount of data. If data is not shared with any other pages then it should not be in redux store
@dan_abramov @qoouep what I did is exporting React as external dependency of main app and the lazy-components, so both main app and the lazy-components can use the same React module instance
@dan_abramov @qoouep is it possible to have multiple version of React in the same app (same React root) ? I'm developing a microfronends app that lazy load components into same React root, and when I use 2 modules of React, it has this problem https://t.co/KKEdcT4iq0
In an attempt to put together all aspects of website performance, I wrote an article on the subject

Wondering if I miss any important points #javascript#programing#js#reactjs#performance
Complete my second article on functional composition in Javascript thanks to a holiday in this week.

Started my programming blog as a hobby recently, excited to publish the first article today https://t.co/VpZtUbxVXr
Thanks @pongpolb for reviewing it. In future articles when I get less excited, will polish it more carefully lol
