@Evabrownies420@cindyhughes68 Ok. Get serious. What Page was talking about was the score to Hard Day’s Night - when did he ever claim anything more than that?
Purdue - I don’t believe this one for pure lack of corroborating evidence, not to mention other inconsistencies.
@Evabrownies420@cindyhughes68 I can’t believe you’re seriously pulling out Let It Be as your example.
I will tell you exactly when a musician forgets how to play - when he hates the band he’s playing with. As everyone put it. Let It Be was a breakup in real time.
@Evabrownies420@cindyhughes68 Let It Be was shelved and they quit purely out of apathy. It’s why they pivoted to the rooftop concert, where they suddenly “remembered how to play.” Had John not taken the masters to Phil Spector, no one would have seen or heard that album as it was.
@Evabrownies420@cindyhughes68 That by itself isn’t enough, because at best you’re guessing on actual timelines and so far you haven’t shared any names. The other narrative about the style suddenly changing doesn’t line up with what I’ve listened to almost nonstop. There are jumps, but the progression is clear
@Evabrownies420@cindyhughes68 I spent years on it, and I’m not a boomer. I was a teen in the mid 90s when the Beatles Anthology came out. I’m not triggered, I’m pointing out your story makes no logical sense.
@Evabrownies420@cindyhughes68 Saying session musicians played isn’t the same as saying the Beatles didn’t.
I listened to the albums in order, on repeat for years. They developed, added new techniques. That’s what musicians do. Are you going to tell me Radiohead didn’t play anything til Kid A? Same logic.
@Evabrownies420@cindyhughes68 Saying some session musicians played some is one thing, but that’s not what you said. That’s a far cry from “they didn’t write or play on their first 4 albums.” They didn’t stop touring til 1966 - Revolver - their 7th album. And what - they suddenly wrote and played then?
@FilesEpstein26 Rainn Wilson is quoting or referencing movies, including that scene from The Office, which likely did not write. Maybe you get a little grace for not getting the jokes, but believe me this makes you look stupid to those of us that do
@zoeharcombe Does the UK not know about all the Americans that have to cross the Atlantic to be able to eat any baked goods without severe GI issues? We’ve been putting folic acid in our grain products, as required by law for decades now and I think it’s a huge reason why.
@Jayinvgenius@ShawnRyan762 Dude… I did the same thing and all my kids were adopted from foster care. I think there are ways to game the system this much in certain jurisdictions. Also… she’s a foster parent too. You really think she’s lying for clout?
@drantbradley Counterpoint - the outward emotional expression isn’t the problem, and it’s not opposed to sound doctrine or even liturgical expression.
Why do you think my parents’ generation left Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy to begin with?
@BaringaGort@jimmy_dore So the answer is she saw nothing. April Gallop was inside when the building was hit. She had no way of seeing what many others saw very clearly, including my uncle.
