3:15 மணிக்கு market ஏன் திடீர்னு வேற மாதிரி behave பண்ணுது? NIFTY close எப்படி decide ஆகுது?

இது இப்போ நிறைய retail investors புரிஞ்சுக்க வேண்டிய ஒரு விஷயம்.

முன்னாடி 3:30 PM வந்ததும் equity market normal trading முடிஞ்சுரும்.

இப்போ NSE-ல் Closing Auction Session (CAS) இருக்கு.

Simple-ஆ சொல்றேன்.

முதல்ல ஒரு clarification.

CAS என்பது NIFTY-க்கு நடக்குற auction கிடையாது.

NIFTY ஒரு index.

CAS நடப்பது NIFTY-ல் இருக்கும் eligible individual stocks-க்கு.

அந்த stocks-ன் closing price மாறினா, அதனால NIFTY closing value-யும் மாறலாம்

CAS எப்படி வேலை செய்கிறது?

3:15 PM-க்கு normal continuous trading session முடியும்.

3:15 முதல் 3:20 வரை ஒரு reference price calculate பண்ணப்படும்.

அதற்குப் பிறகு 3:20 முதல் 3:25 வரை investors buy/sell orders போடலாம்.

Limit order-ம் Market order-ம் போடலாம்

3:25 முதல் 3:30 வரை limit orders மட்டும் enter/modify/cancel பண்ண முடியும்.

Market orders-க்கு அந���த நேரத்தில் புதிய order போட முடியாது.

அதுவும் 3:30 exact-ஆ close ஆகும் என்று இல்லை.

Last 2 minutes-ல் system randomly order collection-ஐ close பண்ணும்.

இதுதான் முக்கியம்.

அதற்குப் பிறகு 3:30 முதல் 3:35 வரை actual order matching நடக்கும்.

இங்கே normal market மாதிரி:

“யார் முதலில் order போட்ட��ர், யாருடைய price better”

என்பதை மட்டும் வைத்து closing price decide பண்ணமாட்டாங்க.

Demand & supply-ஐ பார்த்து ஒரு equilibrium price கண்டுபிடிப்பாங்க.

அந்த equilibrium price என்ன?

Simple example.

ஒரு share-க்கு:

₹100-க்கு 1 lakh shares வாங்க buyers ready.

₹101-க்கு 80,000 shares வாங்க buyers ready.

₹100-க்கு 40,000 shares sell.

₹101-க்கு 80,000 shares sell.

எந்த price-ல் அதிக shares match ஆகுமோ, அந்த price முக்கியமாக consider செய்யப்படும்.

அதுதான் auction mechanism.

அதாவது CAS-ல் objective:

“Maximum possible quantity எந்த price-ல் execute ஆகும்?”

அந்த price தான் equilibrium price.

Multiple prices-ல் same quantity execute ஆகும் என்றால், unmatched quantity குறைவாக இருக்கும் price பார்க்கப்படும்.

அதுவும் same என்றால் reference price-க்கு closest price consider பண்ணப்படும்.

இப்போ ஒரு retail investor-க்கு இது ஏன் important?

நீங்கள் ஒரு NIFTY stock-ஐ 3:20 PM-க்கு ₹1,000-க்கு பார்த்துக்கிட்டு இருக்கீங்க.

3:25க்கு இன்னும் ₹1,000.

ஆனா auction-ல் பெரிய buy/sell orders வந்திருக்கு.

3:30க்குப் பிறகு demand-supply calculation-ல equilibrium price ₹1,020 ஆகலாம்.

அ��்போ அந்த stock-ன் closing price ₹1,020 ஆகலாம்.

அதாவது,

3:30க்கு screen-ல் தெரிஞ்ச price தான் final closing price என்று அவசியம் இல்லை.

CAS-ல் உருவாகும் auction price தான் அந்த stock-ன் closing price-ஐ determine செய்யும்.

இதனால்தான் சில stocks-ல் market முடியும் நேரத்தில் closing price திடீர்னு jump/drop ஆகுற மாதிரி உங்களுக்கு தெரியும்.

இப்போ இதை NIFTY-க்கு connect பண்ணிப் பாருங்க.

NIFTY 50 ஒரு basket.

அதில் இருக்கும் stocks-ன் prices change ஆனா NIFTY-யும் change ஆகும்.

NSE-ன் methodology படி, NIFTY closing value-க்கு constituents-ன் last half-hour weighted-average closing prices பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன. (NSE India⁠)

அதனால் heavyweight stocks-ல் closing price-ல் movement இருந்தால், NIFTY close-லும் impact வரலாம்

இதில் இன்னொரு important விஷயம்.

CAS என்பது random price manipulation செய்ய ஒரு free-for-all window கிடையாது.

CAS-க்கு price band இருக்கு.

NSE தற்போது CAS-ல் applicable reference price-லிருந்து ±3% price band வைத்திருக்கிறது.

அதாவது normal market-ல் ₹1,000 இருந்த stock, CAS-ல் எந்த price-க்கும் போக முடியாது.

Applicable CAS band-க்குள்ள தான் auction நடக்கும். (NSE India⁠)

இப்போ average retail investor என்ன செய்யணும்?

தமிழக அரசு கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரிகளில், 2,708 உதவி பேராசிரியர் பணியிடங்களை நிரப்புவதற்காக, ஆசிரியர் தேர்வு வாரியம், கடந்த 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 27 அன்று போட்டித் தேர்வை நடத்தியது. சுமார் 42,000 தேர்வாளர்கள் பங்கேற்ற இந்தத் தேர்வுகள், 48 பாடப்பிரிவுகளுக்கு நடைபெற்றன. கடந்த 25.06.2026 அன்று வெளியிடப்பட்ட இந்தத் தேர்வுகளின் முடிவுகள், பல குழப்பங்களையும், சந்தேகங்களையும் எழுப்பியுள்��ன.

பாடப்பிரிவுகளுக்கு 150 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கான தேர்வும், விளக்கவுரைக்கு (Descriptive) 50 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கான தேர்வும் நடைமுறைப்படி நடத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்த நிலையில், தமிழ்த் துறையில், 150 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கு 111 மதிப்பெண் பெற்று முதலிடம் பிடித்த தேர்வாளருக்கு, விளக்கவுரை தேர்வில், பூஜ்ஜியம் மதிப்பெண்கள் மட்டுமே வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதே போல, கணினி அறிவியல் துறையில் 107/150 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்றவருக்கு, வி��க்கவுரை தேர்வில், 1/50 மட்டுமே கிடைத்திருக்கிறது. அதே நேரத்தில், இயற்பியல் பாடப்பிரிவில், 54/150 பெற்றவர், விளக்கவுரை தேர்வில், 49/50 பெற்றிருக்கிறார்.

இப்படி, மொத்தம் 43 பாடப்பிரிவுகளில், பாட மதிப்பெண் அதிகம் பெற்றவர்களுக்கு, விளக்கவுரை தேர்வில் மிகக் குறைந்த மதிப்பெண்��ும், பாட மதிப்பெண் குறைவாகப் பெற்றவர்களுக்கு, விளக்கவுரை தேர்வில் மிக அதிக மதிப்பெண்களும் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது பல கேள்விகளை எழுப்பியிருக்கிறது. மேலும், விளக்கவுரை மதிப்பெண்களில், 8.25, 24.75 என தசம, எண்ணிலான மதிப்பெண்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இது எப்படி சாத்தியம் என்ற கேள்வியும், தேர்வாளர்கள் மத்தியில் எழுந்துள்ளது. இப்படி, தேர்வு மதிப்பீட்டு முறையின் குழப்பத்தால், பல தேர்வாளர்களின் தரவரிசையில், பல நூறு இடங்கள் மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், இந்த மதிப்பீட்டு முறையின் வெளிப்படைத் தன்மை குறித்தும், நம்பகத்தன்மை குறித்தும் பெரும் சந்தேகம் எழுந்துள்ளது.

உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் பணிக்காக, தமிழக இளைஞர்கள் பல ஆண்டுகளாக தங்கள் கடுமையான உழைப்பை வழங்கியிருக்கிறார்கள். தேர்வு மதிப்பீட்டில் இத்தனை குழப்பங்கள் ஏற்புடையது அல்ல. எனவே, இந்த விளக்கவுரை (Descriptive) தேர்வு மதிப்பீட�� முறையை ஆய்வுக்குள்ளாக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், இந்தத் தேர்வை முழுமையாக மறு மதிப்பீடு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றும், தமிழக அரசை வலியுறுத்துகிறேன். மேலும், கடந்த 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியிடப்பட்ட அரசாணையில், 4000 உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் பணியிடங்களை நிரப்ப உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால், 2708 பணியிடங்களுக்கு மட்டுமே தேர்வு நடைபெற்றுள்ளது. மாண்பு��ிகு சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றம், கடந்த மே மாதம், 4000 பணியிடங்களையும் ஆறு மாதங்களில் நிரப்ப உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. எனவே, மீதமுள்ள பணியிடங்களையும் நிரப்ப தமிழக அரசு உடனடியாக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.

The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), under the direction of the TVK Govt, had filed an FIR & conducted a raid yesterday at the residence and other premises associated with former DMK Minister Thiru E.V. Velu avl in connection with alleged irregularities in the execution of road contracts awarded in 2022.

I welcome the TVK Govt's efforts to investigate allegations of corruption from the previous DMK regime. I sincerely hope that the TVK Govt ensures a swift conclusion to these cases, and that anyone found guilty is held accountable in accordance with the law.

While we are on this subject, I urge the TVK Govt to look into the following scams that were exposed over the past 5 years, order an enquiry, and take action accordingly. Naming a few to begin with.

1.BGR Energy Scam – Flouting rules, re-awarding a contract, and later cancelling it after being exposed.
2.Nutrition Kit Scam – Procurement of Health Mix from private vendors at an inflated price despite Aavin coming forward to manufacture it.
3.Pongal Dhoti Scam – Use of excess polyester instead of cotton, and proofs of which were submitted to DVAC.
4.Multiple scams in the State Transport Department – Procurement of Reflective & Rear Marking Plates and much more.
5.TNMSC Scam – Procurement of Pesticides
6.MGNREGA Scam

We also hope the TVK Govt finds the time to solve a long-pending mystery. For years, we have been asking about the rather curious coincidence of Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin avl's fan club and Noble Steels operating from the very same address, and about Noble Steels' announcement of a ₹1,000 crore investment in Tamil Nadu soon after former Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin's visit to Dubai (that investment remains an announcement, is a topic for another day).

Fixing school education can be our biggest social multiplier. Eliminating corruption in giving permissions to set up new schools will create competition. More social organisations will set up additional schools. Philanthropists will be willing to fund more schools when the system becomes more transparent. In turn, fees will be kept in check as quality education given by competing schools will be available.

The government can nudge schools to use the resources they otherwise spent on corruption to improve quality of teaching, continuous training of teachers and paying teachers better.
