At least 80 killed as Myanmar military airstrike in Sagaing

At least 80 people were killed in central Myanmar, Kanbalu in an air strike by the military at around today morning.A local source said that most of the PDF leaders and about 30 children were killed in the airstrike.

While the ASEAN summit is holding in Indonesia, three youths were shot dead and one was killed with shot in head by the Armed Forces of military council in Mandalay today. One was seriously injured.

Evidence of torture upon young people who were arrested by the military council in the morning of April 18 in Yankin Township, Yangon has emerged.

The military-owned media reported the arrests and showed their photos which can be seen the torture on the detainees within a day.

Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) released the Formation of the National Unity Government. According to the list, the president of Myanmar is U Win Myint and Daw Aung San Suu Kyi the state councillor, other ethnic leaders in key role of ministries.

Ko Wai Moe Naing, leader of Monywa protest movement in Monywa was arrested by the military council troops today afternoon.

He was riding a motorcycle in protest on Myoma Shwebo Kyaung Road when plainclothes gunmen in a normal car hit him and arrested him.

A 22 year old Isalamic woman, betel seller on Monastic Road, North Okkalapa, was shot by soldiers and police at around 6:30 pm tonight. The woman was taken to OSC Hospital but died at the hospital.
