A movie theatre in Newport Beach changed my life.
I was watching Ben-Hur — "A Tale of the Christ" — and something stirred in me during the scenes of Jesus' death that I couldn't explain.
Not long after, I heard the Gospel on my high school campus and put my faith in Christ.
God used a Hollywood epic to plant a seed in a teenager who didn't see it coming.
That's why we believe in the power of cinema — unexpected people, unexpected places, unexpected message.
In this video I return to that very theatre. 🎬
"The Holy Spirit did not come to promote Himself. He came to promote Jesus. And if you're filled with the Spirit of Jesus, you will be filled with the Spirit itself."

The Holy Spirit You May Not Know | Dr. David Jeremiah
Some people spend up to seven hours a day on their phones — often just doomscrolling.
Our feeds are flooded with misinformation, outrage, and noise.
Here’s a question:
👉 What if we spent as much time reading our Bibles as we do looking at our phones?
I can guarantee this — you’d be a happier, calmer, and less stressed person.
Here are a few thoughts about that… 📖📱
You need to see this video.
It was made by a remarkable 17-year-old named Cannon Van Daele.
Cannon gave his life to Christ after watching one of our Easter services online—at just 12 years old.
Today, he faces a devastating challenge: stage 4 liver cancer.
And yet, Cannon is walking through this storm with unshakable faith and trust in God.
I just spoke with him and had the privilege of praying with him. His strength and joy, even in the midst of this battle, is nothing short of inspiring.
I’m asking all my fellow believers—please pray. Ask God to touch and heal this young man completely, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ.
He’s an example to us all. Let’s lift him up. 🙏
Key verse: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made
known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever
things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever
things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there
is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
PHILIPPIANS 4:6–8
Heavenly Father,
I’m grateful that I don’t have to be anxious or insecure. Thank
You that I don’t have to settle for an anxiety-ridden, worry-driven
life. That there’s a better way to live, and You’ve spelled it out for me
in Your precious Word. Take Your promises of peace and protection
and drill them deep into my heart. Help me not to forget how much
You love me. And, Lord, may I be bold enough and courageous
enough to take these promises at their face value and put them into
operation in my life. May my thoughts dwell solely on things that
are true, noble, just, pure, and lovely.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
