A CDM nurse from Central Women's Hospital (Mandalay), Daw Poe Thant Aung was killed in the interrogation by the junta, according to local sources. The junta continues to kill civilians who fight for democracy in Myanmar.
“The junta troops always arrest and interrogate some villagers who do not run away and remain in their own homes when they arrive,” he said. “They torture and kill if they are not pleased. This is what they always do.”
