@NalakaG@flysrilankan Heard one crew member (UL-192) loudly say, “Sir please be sit down” and another tell a passenger holding his daughter, “She HAVE to sit in her own seat”. Is height the only thing they check during cabin crew interviews these days?
@orcdev I’ve been using Next.js + Postgres all this time. But for my most recent projects, chose Next.js + FastAPI. decided to make things purposely complicated just to learn how a real backend is done.
Next.js 16.2 introduces a stable Adapter API, built with Netlify, Cloudflare, OpenNext, AWS, and Google Cloud. But the API is only part of the story.
Next.js is used by millions of developers across every major cloud, and making it work well everywhere is on us. Here are our commitments.

@kentcdodds@tannerlinsley Been using @cursor_ai for a while now. Tried Claude Code last week (in VS Code since I need a GUI), and honestly it felt better at handling bigger tasks compared to Cursor. Have you noticed this?
Can’t separate access from analysis, can’t distinguish relationships from reporting and can’t question familiar voices, yet performs outrage selectively and calls himself a journalist. #Trex
You’ve probably heard this before “teams usually take on the character of their captain”. That’s exactly what @OfficialSLC is missing right now. Shanaka is an “OK” captain, but he doesn’t really bring that strong presence or personality. And if you ask who could step in after him with real character, I honestly can’t name anyone. That’s the sad part.

When will meaningful action be taken to address the racism our own people face within our country?
If we truly want to build a united, multi-ethnic and multi-religious nation, we cannot allow institutions/businesses to operate with impunity when their policies or practices are discriminatory.
We must stop discriminating against our own citizens. Sri Lanka is known as one of the most hospitable nations - but apparently not to our own?
@anuradisanayake@Dr_HariniA@BimalRathnayake@NalindaJay@Lakmali89 take this seriously and do something. There are too many establishments like this.

The worst day in our cricketing history was when we were 21-7 against Estonia in July 2023.
We realised our players had consumed more sausages in Tallinn the previous day than runs currently scored on the pitch.
Those statistics were stark and marked a key inflection point.
