I don’t understand the anger about the golf ball roll back. It will make no difference whatsoever to the average golfer and puts golf back on a path of sustainability. It will also help bring back certain skills in the pro game that have been eradicated over the past 2 decades.

The people who are upset about this decision shouldn’t be mad at the governing bodies, they should be mad at elite pros and club/ball manufacturers because they didn’t want bifurcation. The governing bodies presented us with that option earlier this year. Elite pros and ball manufacturers think bifurcation would negatively affect their bottom lines, when in reality, the game is already bifurcated. You think we play the same stuff you do? They put pressure on the governing bodies to roll it back to a lesser degree for everyone. Bifurcation was the logical answer for everyone, but yet again in this game, money talks.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.

Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.

Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.

Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.

As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.

A three-hole stretch that started his Ryder Cup journey 🇪🇺

Edoardo Molinari finished birdie-birdie-birdie at the 2010 Johnnie Walker Championship to win his second Tour title of the season.

It was a birdie run that saw him clinch the title by one shot and receive a wild card pick from European Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie.

The Italian played the 2010 Ryder Cup alongside his brother, Francesco, where they halved their fourballs match against Stewart Cink and Matt Kuchar, before he contributed another crucial half point in his singles match against Rickie Fowler as Europe triumphed 14.5-13.5.

Nearly 16 years on from his memorable win, the Ryder Cup is still a huge part of him as he once again takes on the role of Vice Captain for Luke Donald and @RyderCupEurope.

@ballsdotie I see a lot complaining about Southall but he was a brilliant goalkeeper & won FWA footballer of the year 84/85 only the 4th keeper to do it . Only one close to him was schmeichel he won Premier lge player of season in 95/96
