it all started as a small experiment to learn TSL and get used to WebGPU, and somehow it turned into a small game in r3f. took a lot of inspiration from @mustache_dev's work (I’m using r3f-vfx though), still a long way to go (it will take time) but it’s turning into something fun
@mustache_dev thanks!! yeah, that’s why it’s still missing so many things. but I really enjoy the process of making things from scratch even though it makes everything take forever to get done haha

As if publishing Célia's spotlight today wasn't exciting enough...💜 here comes another one!
For more than 15 years (almost a third of my life!!!) I've been running Codrops. What began as sharing small experimental demos has turned into a journey that's connected me with so many inspiring creatives 💙🫶
That's why I'm so happy to share that we've evolved our Demos Hub into the new Creative Hub, a place that brings everything together: a growing collection of hand-picked, open-source demos from Codrops and beyond.
A space to discover, learn from, and celebrate the creativity of the web community!
I'd love for you to explore it, get inspired, and also share your own work: https://t.co/EfeFODGaUP
@henryheffernan@MajorAlter Yes! Lots of limitations tbh. The trick was to switch from DOM to canvas right when the pixels start scrambling, and animate them quickly at the beginning so you can barely notice the slight difference between them.
