@loftwah@1allan_0 Hi! I created this mostly by starting from a minimal modular recreation of AutoGPT, and then enhancing it with agents, memory systems, and etc.
If you're ever curious about anything of this, please let me know. I find it equally fascinating!
@1allan_0@loftwah Hey, I'm the developer of this. If it doesn't work, feel free to let me know! It's still very highly experimental. The project was very small before and it's received a sudden influx of attention very fast.
@Floris@orsondmc @WriteEscape @autismfather I don't feel like any of our concerns have to do with player safety, because we do agree with player safety and we just don't like this system. Personally, I believe there should be some system out there that both keeps people safe and meets our concerns.
@Floris@orsondmc @WriteEscape @autismfather I am really tired of misinformation on both sides. A lot of YouTubers and influencers both for and against chat reporting have spread misinfo and a lot of people deliberately troll or confuse others.
@Floris@orsondmc @WriteEscape I've done my absolute best to not spread any misinformation about this feature, and if you would like to point out an example of when I have I would appreciate that. I have also tried to make long threads to explain my take about chat reporting despite Twitter.
@Floris@orsondmc @WriteEscape I agree with player safety. One of my online friends was groomed by a pedo and that person gaslighted me and others and tried to manipulate us. I have been gaslighted and harassed a lot on my time on the internet, and none of this helps with any of that.
@Floris@orsondmc @WriteEscape @autismfather Also, AntVenom and Docm77 have not spread any misinformation, their tweets about it are just general disapproval of this feature. Docm77 did claim to have been harassed and such by people in support of the chat reporting feature, but I can't verify it.
@autismfather Those are all major problems, and I have seen many people against chat reporting who have done all three - but here's the takeaway: You are guilty of all three of those things yourself, and that statement makes you seem hypocritical.
(1/?)
@orsondmc @WriteEscape @Floris minecraft java literally has roots in 4chan, and the average age of a Java player is usually a teenager or even an adult. also, because of minecraft's decentralization and fragmentation, this system cannot go well.
@Floris@orsondmc @WriteEscape 1. twitter isn't representative of the general community
2. it's hard to get your thoughts out in a more nuanced way with the 280 char limit
3. so much misinformation is going around spread by people like PhoenixSC and AutismFather that it confuses people.
@Floris@AntVenom We should've taken much more time before deciding to publish something like this in that state and with the names. It was a horrible decision but we honestly thought we had to publish it ASAP.
@Floris@AntVenom The page was an adoption of the one that we found from the original tweet, it was mostly word-for-word and a lot of it wasn't the best.
@Floris@AntVenom We've been focusing on how non-transparent Mojang was for a while and to us; this clarified that a lot more and gave us criticism. When people went out of their way to target specific users because of that, that is when we stepped up.
@Floris@AntVenom Also, people were acting horrible on Twitter and harassing others and that really really hurts me. All I wanted to do was highlight Mojang's poor communication decisions with server owners and spread that around (because that's been one of our points for a while).
