I want tipping to go away. It’s an outdated and burdensome custom. I want the staff paid a fair wage or salary just like every other industry. It should be priced into items.

@FenitN @charlesallen @faizsays I was there actually and both sides are correct. She was screaming and resisting like crazy, police didn’t need to use that much force and there were people in the crowd right next to the situation threatening and taunting the officers

@rafaelshimunov I respect your takes and thread, but remain convinced that we can demand better from a councilman. Lots of politicians across the country have had challenging upbringings and they aren’t spouting this nonsense. It has become a pattern and you can’t excuse it away.
