@burgertokens I just got the #Lorcana tokens, and they’re awesome! I’ve been on a hunt trying to find clean pennies. Question, though….the last column of tokens are all just flat stickers. Is that correct?
@PaulTassi People forget that you're a journalist, who writes about news! Sure, you maintain your professional ethics and confirm sources, etc., but sometimes gossip is the news!
Keep doing you, Paul. It's been comforting to have your voice with us for many of these years.
@IGN What's with this user experience? Hope you have some control on the ads served in your placements. This pretty much makes your site unusable on mobile, imo.
@ACozyGamer@MARVELSNAP Im glad that someone is saying it. I was excited about these albums when we learned about them. Once I saw what they were doing, though, I quickly just didnt care anymore.
I really like the game, but it feels like it's losing connection with players for the sake of money.
Bungie's management reportedly told employees that while other options were considered to avoid layoffs, Executive compensation was not one of them.
(per @PaulTassi)
It makes turning on Destiny right now really hard. I don't want to feel guilty when I play a video game.
I've been dedicated to Bungie because of the compassion that was marketed to us. For the veil to be lifted on this... I shouldn't have been so naive.
This Bungie/Destiny 2 situation just keeps getting worse
New reports from IGN claim that devs "begged" for changes to be made to improve player retention
Management didn't listen. Player engagement dropped. Devs had to be laid off.
I've been working for a big corporation for 10+ years and I get the "this is how it works" stance from some
Except it doesn't have to.
Bungie's leadership has been trying to paint this image of a company that is all about inclusiveness, diversity, social justice, etc. And now they pull this crap?
I feel betrayed as a paid customer. The hypocrisy.
You can keep your paid pins. Treat your employees better instead.
I read @PaulTassi's article, but I didn't understand that bullet until now *y'all...!*
Positions at Bungie basically stole thousands of dollars from these people! They used the money from these employees' shares to make up for the loss in revenue! That should be illegal.
I continue to have the most respect for @falloutplays. Consistently nails it—validation much appreciated! How are you dealing with the moral dilemma of playing right now?
