For over three months, staff of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka locked out their Provost, depriving him use of his office.

A team set up by the Minister of Education arrived the school today to mediate the ongoing impasse. However, staff of the college aided by students attacked the team from Abuja, damaging over five vehicles and the Provost’s official quarters.

Not done, the rioting staff and students also blocked all entrances in and out of the college. The police arrived the scene and restored normalcy after being attacked with stones and sachets of water by the rioters.

Meanwhile, thirty-two suspects have been arrested while men of the Nigeria Police Force from Area Command, Surulere remain on ground to ensure that the restored peace remains intact.

Aliko Dangote is a crony capitalist whose parasitic practises stunt the economy instead of growing it. That is true. However, the ongoing extrajudicial destruction of the Dangote business organisation by the Tinubu regime is not at all something to celebrate.

Bola Tinubu has never created 1 naira of legitimate economic value in his life. His entire career history has been drug trafficking and other forms of organised crime and electoral politics. Aliko Dangote may need state capture and government-enforced monopoly to make money, but he has - at least theoretically - created billions of dollars in economic value.

A career criminal and foreign intelligence asset who has never created N1 of value for anybody has no business destroying the legitimate economic output of anyone - including a state-backed crony. Both of them want Nigerians to be poor, but the latter at least needs us to be alive to be able to work for him and buy his output.

Also, the example of Japanese and Korean industrialisation shows that a serious government finds ways to integrate entities like Dangote into its national growth plan instead of making enemies out of them and trying to destroy them.

I'm no fan of what Dangote describes as "business," but I'll co-exist with 15 Dangotes over 1 Tinubu.

70,000 Naira as new minimum wage is horrible in my opinion. A predictable distraction from the unseriously planned protest, to silence Nigerians. The economy has gotten much worse than 70k minimum and solves NOTHING.

Let me even make the matter worse for you and open your eyes to what you are dealing with here:

Are you guys aware that PRISONERS in the UK who are of good behaviour during their time in prison, are put in better environments, given menial jobs within the prison and PAID salaries, precisely £6 per day and allowed to work 5 days a week? You can go and do your research. Go verify.

Now, £6 multiplied by 5 days is £30 a week and £120 a month. That is N240,000/month AS PRISONERS. In case you didn't catch that, let me explain in simple terms:

An average PRISONER in the UK earns much more than the hardworking LAW ABIDING citizen in Nigeria, the Giant of Africa.

But don't worry, all you need is a distraction to make it all go away. BBNaija will soon start.
