Auburn D on third and long today:
3rd and 12: 27 yard pass
3rd and 21: facemask 1st down
3rd and 20: 20-yard TD run
3rd and 8: 48 yards
3rd and 14: 12 yards
3rd and 11: 20 yard TD pass
These guys are getting paid way too much money for us to go easy on them. As fans, we contribute our time and money to invest in the football program just for it to be unsuccessful. So yeah we have the right to be frustrated as a fanbase
I hope y’all realize that tearing down college kids over a loss only makes you look silly.
They want to win just like the fans do. Did you ever stop to think maybe it’s better to support and encourage them so they grow from it? Some of y’all are straight toxic.
As much as it want to look at the glass being half full, there are no more excuses. We’re been hearing it for 6 years and I’m sick of it. We just aren’t good and will be that way until we see it being proven otherwise. No more moral victories. You either win or lose. And we lost
For people blaming Golesh (and saying he should be fired after game 3 of his tenure) and the offense for tonight’s loss, get checked.
Did they play perfect? By no means.
But they FOUGHT, they SCORED, when was the last time Auburn put up 35+ at home vs an SEC opponent? A&M 2024. The time before that? OCTOBER 31, 2020 vs LSU🤷
The defense looks BAD, absolutely awful, can’t get off blocks, unnecessary penalties, weak as shit coverage, NOT WRAPPING UP TACKLES WITH MULTIPLE MEN, and the issues continue on and on.
Defense needs major work.
Auburn is becoming like Nebraska. A once proud program that miscalculated on a coaching situation and pays for it with decades of poverty.
There's reasonable debate over whether or not Gus should have stayed. He had his problems and we shouldn't pretend otherwise. But he had enough upside to keep us competitive too.
To fire him during COVID and bring someone in from left field was certainly not a winning strategy.
Another incredible home atmosphere wasted by an Auburn football team. The Tigers SEC home losing streak will continue.
Everyone in that home lockeroom should be embarrassed.
