Your friendly neighbourhood Nick. I’m a dad, musician & content / comms kinda guy. Peace & love. NUFC. Tea please. Views here do not represent my employer
@that_nick There was a young PR called Nick,
Who’s razor sharp wit was quick,
He loved drinking Tea,
And flirting with me!
And he had an 11.8 inch…. Ruler :-)
@Brightonian_ NUFC fan here, honestly think Brighton’s a great club and understand the player’s decision. We’re a work in progress. Some of our fans on here think we have a divine right to everything.
@MsiDouglas Surely he and his team (and the club by association) will be severely tainted by this dismal episode in terms of reputation, sportsmanship, finance and legal compliance? As long as he and his staff are still there, the players, fans and club will never properly recover IMHO
@ShippersUnbound@rorysutherland Lots to agree with but @TorstenBell has written a good response on the places where Blair’s vision skips over the real constraints that exist in the UK today and fails to provide workable solutions.
But hey these are good debates to be having
@CraigHope_DM@MarcSDuffy@Matt_Barlow_DM Quiet decency, pride and hard work was his hallmark. Managed in a difficult era aswell. Not the loudest and that’s maybe why his role in our recent history is sometimes overlooked, but massively appreciated and loved on Tyneside.
@ToonPolls So much wrong with this, not just one player. We’re passive, slow, positionally all over the place. Credit to Bournemouth - sharp, quick, hungry for the ball. They wanted it more.
@AndyNufc48@ToonPolls@tfalex1892 That’s ultimately the biggest question here: does he have the ability to rethink and reformulate, based on what we’ve experienced. And does the club have enough confidence in him to invest in doing that? I think so, but understand why others argue otherwise.
@AndyNufc48@ToonPolls@tfalex1892 Agree with you Andy, and Alex makes loads of good points, but I think the players get off too lightly. A lot of reasons for this being an awful season, almost all fixable if club and manager are willing to make changes in player recruitment, squad management and tactics.
