This is the latest PISA report, covering the 2025 assessment and released in 2026.

As you can see, Nigeria is not currently represented in the global education rankings. This lack of international benchmarking is one of the reasons our education system struggles to earn global recognition and respect.

This was one of the key reasons behind my visit to the OECD headquarters in Paris last week.

My mission is to ensure that Nigeria participates in PISA for the first time in 2027, with the goal of joining the global education rankings in 2029.
