@bea_johanssen@BBCNews Not being a military dictatorship means the military does not decide alone what it does and does not want to do. They take an oath to his britannic majesty not to the UN.
@bea_johanssen@BBCNews Also the Royal Navy have no right to refuse a direct order from the representative of the British people, that's called treachery.
@AlexMartin The Navy should do their jobs and defend Britain's sovereignty from unidentified foreign ships and peoples approaching our homeland. Say "📢 ATTENTION UNIDENTIFIED FOREIGN VESSEL, YOU ARE APPROACHING BRITISH TERRITORY WITHOUT PERMISSION, TURN BACK OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE"

Tory’s calling the Clacton by-election a “fake” by-election.
Does that mean the people that live there are fake too?
More like the Tory party are fake Conservatives that hate democracy.
@BenWallace70 Your a military man, if you were around back then what would your advice be if you found out that they were thinking of letting Ireland leave the United Kingdom?
@BenWallace70 Britain's former leaders left the Britons with a great inheritance. Full control of the whole British Isles, a global Empire, a huge armed forces and a huge economy. In only a few years the modern Britons pissed it all away. The 1900s = The century of humiliation
@BenWallace70 The loss of Ireland was the greatest blow because that was not part of the Empire, it was a core part of the United Kingdom vital to British security. Imagine how stupid British leaders were to give it up when another war was within sight.
@ElliotSpeller2@BenWallace70 Indeed. Britain surrendered its security because of a few rebels armed with pitchforks and c4 lol. The voluntary loss of Ireland was the opening silo of Britain's decline. Other powers at the time could not believe that Britain was surrendering over 30 percent of its land.
@BenWallace70@SophyRidgeSky@PhilipIngMBE Security reasons? You buy your nukes from the US. The UK is ALL IN on the Americans. Without the US the UK armed forces would collapse.
@Mordhau4@Pravonapadenie@ClarkeMicah@ov_galimova So how can you trust Yulia Navalnaya when she says only 11% now support the war? What polling does she use? Also in 2014 according to western polling 86% of Russians supported the war against Ukraine.
