This was among the most lopsided, poorly officiated games I’ve ever seen. Here is a thread of all the terrible calls starting with Wemby chokeslamming Brunson. This was clean.
Spoke with one of the biggest stock-rising guards in the 2027 class — Bentley Shelton.
Coming off a great season with NY City Rocks EYBL , Shelton is a knockdown shooter who can heat up in a hurry. He is dynamic guard that , make plays for teammates, and is becoming lethal in the mid-range as well. At 6’5, he’s got nice positional size and uses it well on both ends.
Q: Recruitment update?
A: Schools showing interest or have offered include Iona, Missouri State, Northeastern, Butler, Bryant, Albany, Richmond and more.
Q: What are you working on in your game?
A: Picking up 94 feet, tightening my handle, and creating more off the dribble.
Q: Team goals?
A: Get back to the national games, win, and make winning plays.
Q: Individual goals?
A: Keep improving and expanding my impact!
Q: How do you feel about your performance during EYBL?

Shelton’s combination of size, skill, and competitive mindset make him one of the more intriguing guards in the 2027 class. Expect his recruitment to keep trending upward this season St Thomas More📈

6’3 ‘26 G Desmond Bellot Jr @desthefuture11 of @CATSBoston / @ExpressionsBall will continue to be a player to track this season. He finished top 5 in 3 point percentage at EYBL @NikeEYB , while showing ability to lock up some of the best scorers in the country. He is lethal in half court and transition, with the ability to score the ball at all three levels. His skillset is set to translate extremely well to the next level ‼️📈
