“I want to play for my country. I believe in myself. Who knows? I could play for the first team.” 🏴
Addicks academy graduate Ezri Konsa predicted his England future in 2017 🔮
Good luck against Ghana tonight, Ez! 💪

Bad end to the year. But if someone offered any Charlton fan 5pts clear of R zone with a game in hand, it would be bitten off rapidly. We go again in 2026 with players coming off the sick bed again. COYR #cafc
On 11th, March 1978, my dad saw Norm in all his Charlton gear. He was going to Tottenham away. My dad was 7, and he told Norm he was jealous that he was going.
Then, after the game, Norman knocked on my dad’s door, and handed him a program from the game.
RIP Norm ❤️ 🗡️ #CAFC
Ref was dreadful (apart from minute 13) but our first half did the damage. Look what happens when we up our intensity tho. Fullah, Doc, Karoy all brilliant. Most importantly, the tributes to Headphones Norm were beautiful #cafc 🎧🔴⚪️
I remember interviewing Norman at last season’s tie at Southend. He spoke of his wish to draw one of the “big boys” in Round Three:
Norm has pulled some strings from the Covered End in the sky giving his fellow Addicks some happier news after the hardest of weekends #cafc
Just my little tribute to Norm. A warm, humble character, who always had time to talk to anyone, and a total gent. It will feel extremely strange not seeing him at games from now on, I honestly don't believe you could have met a nicer man. RIP Norm ❤️ #cafc
What a fucking man, this bloke was Mr Charlton.
Headphones Norm you will be missed at The Valley and away games.
My thoughts are with your family and friends ❤️
RIP to one of our own Headphones Norm 🙏🏻❤️ #OneOfOurOwn#cafc
Vile response from #pompey fans at the ground and online today, someone might not make it home tonight and your main concern is if the game would carry on…
Hope you lot go down!
Hope the fan in question makes a full recovery #cafc
Actually used to rate Portsmouth fans as a club but I’ve never seen a collective bunch of people embarrass themselves as much as they have in a football stadium in my life. Shameful #cafc
For 40 years, Adele cooked thanksgiving dinner for troopers at the Hampton Bays/Riverhead barracks. Sitting by her window wearing her tiara for her 91st birthday, Adele was overwhelmed to see that they all showed up for her to celebrate.
