Soil sampling question. 20 acre grids with 0-8,8-24 or 5 ac grids at 0-8 which one would be preferred. Asking for own operation. Been doing 2.5 acre grids followed by zone samples year 2-3 and then repeat. This year I’m up to regrid sample but not feeling the price

@BradyD78 I don’t mind one bit! It worth doing what you can some to expand or get needed equipment but paying in is never bad. Most of the time it comes back in other forms anyway

@EMoore52 John Deere system is good as well but price varies depending on the dealer. My go to is always Outback with Andy Davis in Colby but all systems can get the job done. eBay is good for used systems as well

@EMoore52 Outback guidance that is electric is 7k at the moment or the Trimble Ez Steer or EZ pilot system work good as well. The Ez steer is the ball of the wheel while the Ez pilot is more similar to outbacks electric steer.

Used systems can lighten the price some of these.
