Avoid the 3 monsters: perfection monster (tells you it's not perfect yet, symptom is procrastination), advice monster (quick to prescribe w/o complete understanding of the problem), & the people pleaser monster (seeks the validation of others: parents, peers, professors).

I’m not trying to become the next Zuckerberg. I just want to wake up whenever I want. Take mid-day naps. Spend time with my kids without asking for permission. That sort of thing.
