@MarkDietzinAB They can keep the blade - just make it a blank (I think that's what they call it). The blade is dull, never sharpened, unable to cause damage even accidentally.
@AreOhEssEyeEe Read about the bridge built in PEI. They accepted a lot of foreign students in order to make money for the construction of that bridge. It was a money making thing, most of the students did not attend classes.
@AreOhEssEyeEe Long ago people were saying Black people were doing the same. Before that it was the Japanese who were taking over the world after the war. I think its just one of those continuing racial things.
@AreOhEssEyeEe You sound like my Mother. Yesterday she was talking about my niece's new boyfriend not liking our family. He hasn't met most of us yet & we don't know what he thinks. I asked her why she was only looking at the negative - she said I didn't understand. I don't.
@AreOhEssEyeEe Its certainly unbalanced. No one is allowed to celebrate being straight, But, I especially feel very uncomfortable with sexuality of any kind being pushed to/for children. As far as it has gone now, how much farther will it be allowed to continue. Will pedophiles be accepted too.
@giveashitnature Anything can be seen as a weed - its just about time and place. Dandelions are unwanted in most lawns and gardens. So are a lot of other plants. I like dandelions but I can understand how their tenaciousness works against them.
@Christy4Change More work, but a lot cheaper to clean the tank. Plus, a dirty tank looks and smells bad in your home. So you are doing yourself and the fish a favour.
@ThrillaRilla369 Yes. They could also go back to the basics: reading, writing and mathematics. I've seen high school kids who can't manage 5 - 2 = 3. It's sad.
@FarmGirlCarrie I can understand. But, I wouldn't feel entirely welcome with someone making decisions for me. I wouldn't be likely to return to the restaurant unless it was really good and prices weren't too bad.
