Khan Saab

Do I even need to say I am from Hyderabad?

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

@BJP4India Nice try didi.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

How do y'all survive in a joint family?
I mean, I just breathe at a family function and somehow become breaking news.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Being Hyderabadi, I don't say YES or NO
'Dekhingey' is 99% of my vocabulary.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

HYD LORE #1

Your relatives don’t say, MashaAllah, you’re doing well. “Haraam ka paisa aara” is 99% of their vocabulary.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Mosquitoes are the second most thing in Hyderabad. First is still the hidden cafes.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Hyderabad weather really works 9 to 5. Summer on weekdays, monsoon on weekends.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Hyderabad literally gives us summer all week, then waits for the weekend to rain on our plans. 😭

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

I don’t comment on other people’s personal lives, but I feel Hyderabad is in a situationship with summer.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Someone please tell Hyderabad it’s September, not May. 😭

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Even iPhone got duo and you are still ordering single biryani..

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

These avocado toast kids who say “eww” to nahari paaye are using AI to look like they’re from the 80s. Selective old school?

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Where were people in 80s Hyderabad going dressed like that? Jubilee Hills was still hidden.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Everyone looks so happy in 80s photos because no one was stuck at Nanal Nagar signal.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Somewhere in Hyderabad, a food blogger just saw a construction site and said, “Ooh, New York vibes.”

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

At this point, Hyderabad is more New York than New York.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Hyderabadi reelers after seeing one good cafe: “This place feels like New York.”

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

If you book an Uber to Hi-Tech City, the only move your driver pulls is: “15 saal pehle yeh kuch bi nai tha, mere saamne development hua.”

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

If you book an Uber to Hi-Tech City, the only move your driver pulls is: “Aaj se 15 saal pehle yaape kuch bi nai tha, mere aankho ke saamne bana”

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

Jo loga cafe ku “keyfey” pronounce karte, unlo ke saath kabhi cafe nakko jao. Thank me later.

[Khan Saab @thatkhansaab]

At this point, Hyderabadis have a better relationship with cafe staff than with their relatives.
