Authorities have announced additional arrests and charges related to a recent incident involving multiple juveniles.

Ashton Clark, 18, of Lenoir County, has been charged with Felony Assault by Strangulation and Conspiracy. He was booked into the Lenoir County Jail and is being held under a $50,000 secured bond.

Landon Harris, 19, of Pitt County, has been charged with Cyberbullying and Conspiracy. He was also placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a $2,500 secured bond.

A 17-year-old juvenile has been charged with Felony Assault by Strangulation and Conspiracy. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to a secure juvenile detention facility.

Investigators have identified six additional juveniles who are expected to face charges ranging from Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Simple Assault, and Conspiracy. Those individuals will be processed through the juvenile system

The investigation remains active and ongoing, and officials anticipate additional arrests as more information is developed.

According to the victim’s family, the incident occurred on May 24 just outside of Grifton in Lenoir County NC and the victim was Black.

Family members said that the victim suffered several broken teeth and ruptured blood vessels as a result of the violent attack.
