Very inspired that Heroines is going with a style that was created to go against mass production when the main plot of the novel is also about that. I MIGHT be looking too deeply into it👀

Hopefully they'll use the money to invest in more creative projects. Kitsune, fan letter and heroines is the right track.

Heroines was in production for 11 months post announcement (probably a year and 3 months). For a 25 minutes project, that's not bad at all.

Really good movie. So good it suffers from having too much "goodness" going on. Every shot feels indulgent and free from restraints and it could work if you are in the mood lol but it gets tiring really quickly IMO.
