Check out my guest appearance on the @PositivePhilter! Spotify link in my bio but it can also be found on all platforms (Apple, Google, IHeartRadio, etc.) https://t.co/JXaDpKDyCT
It's uncommon to find anyone who genuinely respects the opposite sex. Most people just engage with the opposite sex as a screen for their own inner projections.
Every man becomes an effigy of the father who disappointed her. Every woman becomes a punching bag for his frustrations over the woman who left him. Every man reminds her of her own inner masculine that she rejects. Every woman becomes an acceptable target for his unacknowledged anger at mom. Etc etc etc
And the more a person operates in harsh binaries of thinking (all men this, all woman that), the more that person tends to be unable to relate to the opposite sex and unable to see them as fully human (because the projection screen can never be its own person). Every person of the opposite sex that passes through their lives is just an actor in their own psychological soap opera.
You'll know if you're dealing with someone who is projecting their anima or animus onto you by whether or not they become angry or uncomfortable when you forcefully assert your authentic self. Upon being forced to see you as a real person, the projector usually escalates their rhetoric, becoming more extreme and binary, and becoming more agitated.
Someone who is not projecting will be able to accept the new information they've received about you, seamlessly integrate it, and continue interacting with you as an individual, adjusting their perception of you as they learn more.
I don’t feel it’s controversial to say if your husband doesn’t know your birthday or your eye color or to not ask you about dinner while you’re in labor, he’s a bad person. But I’m sure someone will tell me I’m wrong
you do not lose dignity from expressing yourself. it’s not about how they receive it’s about you making sure to honor your emotions by conveying them. do not let pointless shame lead you to silencing yourself.
*pretends to be shocked* OH NOO who could have seen this coming!!?!? LOL this is why having discernment is CRUCIAL my spirit never moved me to download this app let alone sign up WITHOUT reading the TERMS OR CONDITIONS!
This, btw, is controlling behavior.
When people tell you that you're no longer allowed to set boundaries because it's "controlling" they're likely abusive/manipulative.
What does this message even mean? "Prior to dating, he had no problem with her engaging in what he considered single behavior, but once they started dating he wanted her to act in a way that he thought was consistent with her being in a relationship."
Yes????
Men buy phones and pay for data for women without disrespecting them for no reason, if we’re to go by your logic, any man who provides for a woman should always do as he wishes while the woman keeps quiet - Great advice from a 40+ sad feminist.
Mistreating or disrespecting your partner because you pay the bills or make more money should be frowned upon regardless of the gender doing it. Apparently that’s a standard that only applies to men though.
Once again y’all are showing too much of how y’all really think.
Y'all are calling a man insecure for having a problem with his lady wearing revealing clothes while being serenaded by a man she clearly finds attractive. This app is hell 😂😂😂
