Here is an update on my @hnginternship stage 8 task
This morning I built my VA Career Systems Toolkit:
Created a VA Job Tracker Board to monitor all leads & applications
Stage 7 of the @hnginternship felt like stepping fully into the real world of Virtual Assistance.
I started by crafting a strong, targeted pitch and reaching out to potential clients. I secured a real client and supported her with structured tasks
To wrap up the week, I documented my entire process and I am expected to deliver a complete presentation to the cohort, sharing my activities, challenges, wins, and lessons learned.
Thought I wouldn’t make it, but here I am.
@hnginternship keeps reminding me that resilience is a superpower.
Being a VA to a Project Team Lead this week stretched me, grew me, and taught me a lot about structure and accountability.
Goodbye or not, see you in Stage 7
@hnginternship
Working on a live product this week stretched me in the best ways, from navigating teamwork to picking up the technical jargon that comes with real product work.
It pushed me out of my comfort zone and kept me on my toes, but I’m grateful for how much I’ve grown
Stage 4 @hnginternship
One thing I love about HNG is the fact that for each stage, you learn a new tool especially as a newbie.
It was click up for this stage and honestly, I don’t know how I feel.
Hopefully, I’ll be here to talk about the next stage
Stage 3 @hnginternship Task
Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads, wondering how you got there?
That was exactly how I felt while working on this task!
I had to create a travel itinerary for a Fortune 500 CEO
This was my brief for Part B of my 3rd @hnginternship Task
Brief
Request to be added to the private channel (HNGi13 isolation channel). When you get in there, pick 2 issues from interns recently moved there.
While working on that, I got a second client whose offense was replying rudely in a channel he wasn’t even supposed to type in.
I can’t share all the details of the resolutions, but one thing I can say for sure is, dealing with humans is tough work!
Below was the task brief I got for my 3rd @hnginternship Task
Brief
Your company is expanding into Germany. Identify 10 small-to-mid sized tech/tech-enabled companies (10–500 employees). These must be real, non-trending firms with a website and LinkedIn presence.
This task taught me the importance of being patient, detailed, and thorough when conducting research, especially as a VA. It also taught me that there’s truly no such thing as a “small task.”
