🟠 Mercury’s reported $5B+ valuation is more than a fintech headline — it is a market signal.
The company is said to be in late-stage talks to raise new capital at a valuation above $5 billion, up from $3.5 billion just a year ago.
The headline sounds bearish, but the chart tells a different story.
Only 2.2% of US households are paying for AI right now which means adoption is still incredibly early.
What stands out to me is the direction: paid AI subscriptions have gone from almost nothing to a steadily rising share of households in just a few years.
If AI becomes as normal as paying for Netflix, Spotify, or cloud storage, the real market is still mostly ahead of us.

Shivon Zilis’s public version of love, trust, and a “safe space” should be compared with her own earlier words about trust, access to information, and the “trust game.” Full documented chronology:

A powerful intervention from @noatishby.
Following the Flydubai incident, Noa Tishby delivers a strong warning about the threat she believes Islamism and jihadist ideology pose to Western societies.
A conversation that will continue well beyond this incident.
Veldris builds Midgard, the sovereign data platform: open source, post-quantum encrypted, local-AI only.
Sovereignty here is not a compliance checkbox. Every object is encrypted under ML-KEM (NIST FIPS 203) before it moves. Every model runs on your hardware; no inference leaves your enclosure. Every build is reproducible from source, so you can verify what runs rather than trust what we say.
Six products run inside the Midgard enclosure: Forge (data operations), Mimir (local agentic AI), Bifrost (continuous delivery), Heimdall (operational fusion), and the foresight pair Gungnir (consequence projection) with Forseti (forecast assurance), on the Midgard core.
Veldris is a forever company, built in the Midlands, UK, on the post-quantum work behind Vox Messenger (400,000+ users) and the computer vision behind SpatialScan3D. Infrastructure meant to outlive its founders: inspect it, fork it, continue it.
Power you can read.
I built a Grok Bot template that gives your agents a business brain.
It's learned from $6.6B of real transactions on Whop, so it knows the one action your business should take next to grow. And it does it.

The MSB Call Report is due 45 days after quarter end. The figures behind it live in many places including the application ledger, processor and bank files, the data warehouse, and the accounting GL and sometimes loosely joined on a spreadsheet somewhere.
