I recently visited West mid hospital and heard about their great work to support NHS staff facing the menopause.
I mentioned their work in Parliament last week and asked the Government for a debate about how to better support women in work who are facing the menopause.
Earlier this week I met with an amazing group of women at West Mid to hear about women's health, the menopause & the support needed to help women stay in work.
For far too long women's health issues, especially for those of us aged 40 & above has been ignored.
Delighted to return to West Mid today.
I met with NHS staff, and heard about their amazing work on everything from emergency care to menopause care.
I learnt so much today, and everyone was so generous with their time.
Midwives are leaving the profession and that is absolutely because of pay - the average midwife is £7,000 worse off than they were 10 years ago. It's also the stress, the burnout, the fuel poverty' RCM's Suzanne Tyler @RcmSuz told @LondonAssembly this week https://t.co/7J7nJqsinR
