I liked the anime, because I liked the game. I think the anime has some issues of direction (people don't get it). However, it's done because what else did you expected about an anime of an streamer with a god-complex.

27 - Needy Girl Overdose.
I like a message of the anime that idols (from the internet in this case) can endorse people to follow their dreams, and to be better (when they do not do the opposite).
Besides, the real ending, Kangel revelation of life, kinda neat stuff, I liked it.

26 - The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
I liked the fights and the story, however despite the plot-holes. It is an entertaining movie. I did not expect so much about a mario movie.
Not respecting the "canon" isn't the issue imo, but leaving some explanations empty. wait til next movie.
