@BKDadaab We have some serious problems with the marginalization of girls here in Brazil too, and I believe that sharing our experiences is a one of the steps towards a more equal society. With that in mind, I was wondering if we could talk a bit about your experience in Dadaab.
@BKDadaab Dear Brownie, how are you? First, I would like to pay my admiration for all the work you've been doing in Dadaab for the empowerment of women and girls. I'm a young researcher from Brazil, and from here I would like to give light to stories we hardly hear about here (+)
@HamdiMohamedPhD However, I can't seem to find it for sale. Where can I acquire it? And is there any way I can get in contact with you by e-mail to discuss further about the role of women on peace-building? It would be an honor for me as a young researcher. Thank you very much!
@HamdiMohamedPhD I am currently researching about women's participation on peace-building, focusing on Somalia. In reading Prof. Cindy Horst's paper on the matter, I discovered your book, "Gender and the Politics of Nation Building: (Re)Constructing Somali Women's History".
@HamdiMohamedPhD Dear Professor Mohamed, my name is Rafaela Julich, and I am a master student of Federal University of Santa Catarina, in Brazil. I am very interested in the subjects of gender and peace-building, but here in Brazil this subject is very under studied.
