@Azadux Really the only viable method is some sort of Certifying Authority (CA). You see this for digital authentication in system stacks. China is already playing with this concept using blockchain contracts to demonstrate "Proof of Reality" or, more often, "Proof of AI Generated".
@OpenAI Is anyone else getting Willy Wonka Wonderous Boat Ride vibes?
There’s no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going
There’s no knowing where we’re rowing
Or which way the river’s flowing
Hot take - 6DoF VR apps will be more niche than flat windowed apps in VR/MR
This is in opposition to the dogmatic vitriol of “VR can only survive/expand if devs took full advantage of 6DOF controllers, 1st person POV, etc”
I believe that users will simply want to use the headset to continue doing what they like to do - personal computing, phone scrolling, etc.
What will likely happen as things mature is those apps will start to design outside of the typically 16:9 frame and start to take advantage of the infinite canvas of spatial computing.
For example, in Premiere Pro/Blender, I’d want certain tabs to be their own floating windows, taking up exactly however much space they need (as opposed to fighting the rest of the UI for the limited real estate in a single 16:9 window).
The killer app for VR might not need to be a VR app in the traditional sense.
The whole ecosystem is really starting to bloom with more mature hardware, better development support/standards, and more intentional and well-researched use cases as opposed to just shock & awe.

Man as someone who's been working on mixed reality/VR/AR first in 2016 and then regularly in 2020 it is so validating that we could be hitting the Plateau of Productivity with the tech stack.

@sociaIrate It's dumb we ever gave them up. Why would I devote 20-50% of my living space to screens? Human driven design will always lead to more fulfilling results.
@nickfloats Brother the secret is in movement. As soon as the midjourney can effectively apply the root value generated across time we're all going to have a second coming to jesus moment for AI.
Super excited for @DigiLensInc new glasses. You're getting closer to what the frontline actually wants. Interested to see how this develops in conjunction with @taqtile .
@tunguz As someone who needs to understand this field better but doesn't know it well yet; what's the 60k ft description of Kaggle? Why do I deep dive into it?
@Scobleizer All technology is spatial; intrinsically that's how we understand and interact with it. We're just getting better at breaking down the barriers from intention to action.
@tunguz This is freaking wild. Excel has always been the stand-in for an actual db for the frontline user; this is a huge leap in the toolkit for that user.
@rabovitz You have a less common perspective on the topic. Do you think as humans and individuals the 'founder' you describe will wander between these groupings; or is someone more likely to live as one of these personas?
