@MCRMetrolink The gents at Bury Interchange were great. Didn't get all their names but one was Phil. Had an encounter with a rude bus driver who didn't know to let tram passengers on. Reported immediately by Phil and I was given helpful advice on what to do next. Just wanted to pass that on.
@DVLAgovuk reason I'm chasing is I urgently need to apply for my passport ahead of Christmas. My passport number is on my application as proof of identity & expires this month. If it expires/I apply for a new passport will the application be void?
@SkyHelpTeam what's going on in Bury, Manchester? I've been kicked out of two teams calls today so far. This is the 4th day running our connection has completely dropped out for minutes at a time. It's making working from home EXTREMELY difficult.
Plenty on the news today about lifting of wedding restrictions. Worth pointing out that my fiancée is legally allowed to stop at her dad’s house overnight, be driven by him to venue, hug him outside but when walking down the aisle he must wear a mask.Ridiculous #whataboutweddings
listening now @bbc5live only just back to working weddings after 14 months no income and weddings are still so HEAVILY restricted - difficult to stomach when you see all the football fans & Royal Ascot #whataboutweddings
It’s good to see @DrHilaryJones & @lorraine calling out @10DowningStreet for their hypocritical behaviour on weddings. So many ‘pilot’ events but friends and family can’t have an outside standing drink reception or a little dance. Despite testing #whataboutweddings@BorisJohnson
Boris: don’t you dare dance at your wedding. Not even with your father.
Don’t you dare have a standing drinks reception.
Don’t you dare walk down the aisle with your unmasked father. #whataboutweddings
This! Brilliant! Well done @TheLastLeg for bringing attention to weddings! #whataboutweddings@BorisJohnson I’m laughing at the ridiculousness of this but crying at the reality of the nonsensical rules surrounding these life events #EnoughIsEnough
Yes. We really must keep penalising the weddings sector and keep it in severe restrictions to ensure weddings don't become COVID super-spreader events.
Oh for fucks sake. It’s just an absolute joke now.
Weddings still restricted to no dancing and masks for a sober sit down ceremonies.
The govt make decisions based on privilege and favouritism. Full stop.
@PennyMordaunt are you really going to stand for this? Appalling.
I honestly, truly love all the videos & images of football fans having a great time in London for #EURO2020 - but it's also pretty galling when I get married in two weeks and I can't have an outdoors stand up drinks reception with my closest friends & family... #WhatAboutWeddings
It’s good to see the wealthy in Britain have regained their freedom, irrespective of the continued restrictions on those less hatted.
This model worked from Medieval times up to 1900, so presumably someone thinks it’s worth trying again.
