A European illegal immigrant to South Africa, A ZamaZama Kingpin, The Notorious Criminal Jan Aucamp, was nabbed with over R20 Million worth of chrome

The notorious illegal miner, Jan Aucamp, was arrested on Wednesday for possessing chrome worth R 20 million, which he allegedly extracted from the Steelpoort area in Limpopo.

The Pink European Aucamp, a geologist by profession appeared before the Praktiseer District Court over his illicit possession of chrome. This is as the results of a coordinated investigation by Defense’ Intelligence Unit.

On December 12, 2023, the South African National Defence Force, SAPS Sekhukhune District, Local Criminal Record Centre, SSG Security Company, and members of Polokwane Serious Organised Crime Investigation carried out an intelligence-driven disruptive operation aimed at stopping illegal mining at Steelpoort in Burgersfort.
