🚨There is an incredibly dark side to modern internet culture that we need to talk about.

​Witnesses report that during the tragic roller coaster accident that claimed Hassan’s life, an automatic souvenir ride camera captured his fall. Now, an image claiming to show that exact moment is circulating online, with people joking about his clothing shifting during the fall.

​Let’s be completely clear: A man was losing his life. He had no control over what was happening to his body or what was caught on camera.

There is something profoundly heartbreaking about someone’s final, most vulnerable moments being stripped of dignity and turned into internet entertainment especially when his son reportedly witnessed the tragedy firsthand.

​Imagine knowing a photo of your father’s final seconds is being passed around and mocked by strangers.

​Hassan deserves to be remembered for the life he lived, not reduced to a viral meme in death. Stop sharing the photo. Give his family the privacy and compassion they deserve, and let him rest in peace.

A friend of the man who died in the roller coaster accident at Six Flags makes a direct appeal to the public and reporters.

She strongly urges people to stop sharing any photos of his body and demands that these images be scrubbed from the internet.
